  
A second prophet,
this one like Moses
At some point, the prophet that
is like Elijah is joined by a prophet that is like Moses. We can
know with certainty that these prophets are patterned from Elijah and Moses.
As I showed in an earlier section, a
prophet like Elijah will come. (If you have not read that section
I recommend that you do.) Deuteronomy chapter 18 talks about the
prophet that is like Moses. Also, Elijah and Moses appear together:
Two men, Moses and Elijah, appeared
in glorious splendor, talking with Jesus...
(Luke 9:30-31)
The LORD your God will raise
up for you a prophet like me [Moses] from among your own brothers [Israel].
You must listen to him.
(Deuteronomy 18:15)
I will raise up for them a prophet
like you [Moses] from among their brothers [Israel]; I will put my words
in his mouth, and he will tell them everything I command him.
(Deuteronomy 18:18) |

assume that the prophet like Moses refers to all the prophets in the Bible,
and so they believe these prophecies have been fulfilled. Click here

that the prophets Elijah and Moses are the actual Elijah and Moses that
