Some people falsely believe that Jesus is the prophet that is like Moses.  They refer to Acts 3:20-22 to support this view.  But, Acts 3:21-24 says that Jesus will stay in heaven until after all the prophets, including the one like Moses, have come.  Also, Acts 3:22 is a partial quote from Deuteronomy 18:15-22, and Deuteronomy is clearly talking about a human like us.  Deuteronomy 18:16 explains why God is providing this prophet, and is taken from Deuteronomy 5:25-28 which explains that the people requested a human prophet because it was too stressful on them to hear God directly.
     Finally, it is very silly to say that Jesus was patterned from Moses, since Moses was sinful and Jesus is deity!  Jesus is more than Moses was, and more than a prophet.  Moses and Jesus are not the same!
     The prophet that is like Moses is still yet to come!
