Some people falsely assume that the prophet like Moses refers to all the prophets in the Bible, and so they believe these prophecies have been fulfilled.  But, notice that there will be "a" prophet, and you must listen to "him" (Deuteronomy 18:15, 18).  God used singular words like "he" instead of plurals like "them".  God will raise up a "prophet", not "prophets"!  The King James Version of the Bible, as well as the Today's English Version, refer to one person.  There have been many prophets, but Deuteronomy 18 verses 15 and 18 are not talking about all the prophets of the Bible.  These verses refer to a specific prophet!
