God's people flee Jerusalem to
camp in the open field
When Jerusalem is surrounded
by armies, that is the "sign" that it is time for the people who are at
that time living in Israel to flee as fast as possible into the mountains,
abandoning their homes to camp in the open field for three and a half years.
When you see Jerusalem being
surrounded by armies, you will know that its desolation is near.
Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains, let those in the
city get out, and let those in the country not enter the city.
(Luke 21:20-21)
Writhe in agony, O Daughter of
Zion, like a woman in labor, for now you must leave the city to camp in
the open field. You will go to Babylon; there you will be rescued.
There the LORD will redeem you out of the hand of your enemies. But
now many nations are gathered against you. They say "Let her be defiled,
let our eyes gloat over Zion!" .... Therefore Israel will be abandoned
until the time when she who is in labor gives birth and the rest of his
brothers returns to join the Israelites.
(Micah 4:10-11; 5:3)
I will gather all the nations
to Jerusalem to fight against it .... You will flee by my mountain valley,
for it will extend to Azel ...
(Zechariah 14:2,5)
The woman [God's people] fled
into the desert to a place prepared for her by God, where she might be
taken care of for 1,260 days [three and a half years].
(Revelation 12:6)
The woman [God's people] was
given the two wings of a great eagle, so that she might fly to the place
prepared for her in the desert, where she would be taken care of for a
time, times and half a time [three and a half years], out of the serpent's
[devil's] reach.
(Revelation 12:14)
This is what the LORD says:
"The people who survive the sword will find favor in the desert; I will
come to give rest to Israel."
(Jeremiah 31:2) |
Anyone who does not flee as fast as possible will
risk being captured by the Antichrist's armies. If you are fleeing,
and while in haste you notice someone who is also fleeing as fast as they
can but is slower than you, then help that person, even if it slows your
speed, for protection will wait for you because protection will wait for
that person.
On that day the LORD will shield
those who live in Jerusalem, so that the feeblest among them will be like
David, and the house of David will be like God, like the Angel of the LORD
going before them.
(Zechariah 12:8) |
But do not go back for any of your possessions, for
by returning you risk yourself.
Let no one on the roof of his
house go down to take anything out of the house. Let no one in the
field go back to get his cloak
